Due to the ongoing volcanic activity at Mount Etna and the resulting operational restrictions affecting Catania Airport, KM Malta Airlines is forced to cancel the following flights on 14 September 2026:

KM642 – Malta to Catania

KM643 – Catania to Malta

Affected passengers will be contacted directly with further information regarding their flight and the available options. Our operational teams will continue working closely with Catania Airport and the relevant authorities to maximise every opportunity to safely resume scheduled services.

Passengers wishing to rebook their travel to an alternative date or explore travel on an alternative route are requested to contact the KM Malta Airlines Customer Service Centre on +356 21356000.

Passengers, who booked through a travel agent, are advised to contact the agent to initiate a refund request on their behalf.
