KM Malta Airlines and SNCF Voyageurs to expand travel options to and from France and Brussels with Train + Air partnership
KM Malta Airlines and SNCF Voyageurs have partnered to introduce a new Train + Air offering that will provide KM Malta Airlines customers with convenient onward rail connections to and from destinations across France and Brussels.
Through the partnership, customers travelling with KM Malta Airlines will be able to combine their flight and train journeys in a single booking, connecting through Paris Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) and Lyon Saint-Exupéry (LYS). The offering will provide access to an expanded range of destinations beyond the two airports, making it easier for customers travelling from Malta to reach major cities across France and Brussels, while also providing convenient connections for passengers travelling to Malta.
The Train + Air service will combine KM Malta Airlines’ flights with high-speed rail services operated by SNCF Voyageurs, including TGV INOUI and OUIGO. Customers will benefit from the convenience of booking their complete journey together, while also receiving protection in the event of delays or schedule disruptions, with onward travel arrangements provided at no additional cost in accordance with the applicable conditions.
The new service strengthens KM Malta Airlines’ connectivity to and from France, one of its key European markets, while providing customers with greater flexibility when travelling beyond Paris and Lyon. It also supports the airline’s strategy of developing connectivity through major European gateways and offering customers convenient options for reaching a wider range of destinations.

The Train + Air service will provide connections via Paris Charles-de-Gaulle to 25 destinations across France and Brussels, including major cities such as Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg, Lille and Montpellier, whilst connections via Lyon Saint-Exupéry will provide onward rail access to Avignon, Grenoble, Marseille, Montpellier, Nimes and more.
Customers will be able to purchase their combined flight and train journey through the KM Malta Airlines website and mobile app. The Train + Air offering is designed as a single journey, providing customers with a simpler booking experience and protection in the event of eligible flight or train disruptions.
